G'Vine Floraison Gin - 70cl - 40% ABV
£34.90
The G'vine Gin family is a two strong range made in France using a grape-based spirit. Traditionally, base spirits are supposed to be neutral – the blank canvass upon which a gin is painted. In modern times, though, they retain character, and we're happy to describe grape as the very first botanical in G'vine Floraison and G'Vine Nouaison Gin.
In case you aren’t au fait with Franch farming language, Floraison is the season in mid-june, in which the vine flowers blossom. Nouaison means setting, and it is the period in which the flowers give way to fruit. While the gins share similarities, each branches off to reflect these delicate summer days.
G'vine Floraison was the first to emerge from the distillery, and at 40% has a slightly lower ABV than its sibling. It's a supple, smooth and fruity tipple. With vibrant floral notes throughout, the gin is a perfumed, delicate and totally different take on the spirit.
Bold and brilliant, with a surprising ginger warmth, this is a premium gin deserving of its title. We're big fans.
To serve: Dress up the ginger with a thin sliver, or complement that base by adding some frozen grapes.
