Mr Kamms Gin - 70cl - 42% ABV
A huge 45 botanicals go into making Mr Kamms Gin - a modern interpretation of a classic London Dry Gin.
The ingredients are very similar to famed sister spirit (the British Aperitif, Kamm & Sons), but with a few differences, one of which is the use of barley-based spirit which gives it a creamy, sweeter palate. The botanicals include ginseng, fresh grapefruit, lemon and orange peels, apricot kernel, hibiscus, rosehip, blue butterfly pea and citra hops.
The distillation is now done by founder Alex Kammerling’s parents at the bottom of their garden in Surrey, using a small copper pot still that at full capacity can only make 80 bottles per day.
The flavour of Mr. Kamm’s is complex with the piney, woody flavour of juniper is accentuated by a flush of citrus, ginseng and a blend of barks, seeds, nuts to finish.
