Mancino Rosso Amaranto - 75cl - 16% ABV
Dark red with a glint of caramel. There are aromas of vanilla, rhubarb, juniper, wood, myrrh and chiretta with cloves and cinnamon and oranges. Remarkably balanced, with a bittersweet medicinal root finish.
After a week-long filtration process, the liquid spends six months resting in stainless steel until the Vermouth is ready for bottling in small batches. The recipe includes a base of Trebbiano di Romagna wine & a healthy 37 botanicals.
NEGRONI ADVICE -
This is traditional sweet vermouth territory here, so a good choice to use in a Negroni with almost anything in the gin category. We particularly like it with gins that have a pronounced and enduring finish, such as Portobello London Dry or Four Pillars Spiced Negroni Gin, as the nutmeg and cinnamon tend to find other spices and combine beautifully.
