Longtooth Gin - 70cl - 43% ABV
It's a false assumption that gin just popped back into existence in the naut'ies after centuries in the wilderness. Each decade there were some fantastic names gracing shelves, some survived but many are now fading into distant memory for those who care to recollect life before the internet...
In the 1960's
Bengal Gin was a well known brand served in bars, clubs and after-parties the world over. It was one of the many that ceased to exists as trends ebbed and flowed.
Fast-forward half a century and this 1960’s icon has become the blueprint for a new gin - Longtooth. Working with the team at G&J Greenall's the team behind Longtooth have recreated it as best they could for this new era of enthusiasts.
A blend of 12 carefully chosen, ethically sourced botanicals on a classic juniper base, it is a supremely smooth spirit, with spice building (namely cassia, cinnamon, chicory and a mustard seeds).
Serve it with a sprig of rosemary and an orange peel in a G&T.
