Lillet Rose - 75cl - 17% ABV
Lillet belongs in a family of aperitif known as tonic wines because of the addition of a liqueur of Peruvian Cinchona bark which contains quinine. Lillet is often considered a vermouth, however it is not for 2 reasons; it contains liqueur, and there's no wormwood (artemisia, in German vermut, from which the word vermouth derives). With a history dating back to the 19th century, this is one of the world's favourite apéritif wines.
The Rosé is one of the centuries old wineries newer offerings (its first in 50 years!). It i made is a blend of red and white Bordeaux wines mixed, along with herb and fruit liqueur infusions, before ageing in French oak casks.
With light aromas of berries, orange blossom and grapefruit, along with a fresh, lively and fruity taste - it's a modern aperitif that's ideal for those seeking to top with tonic and enjoy a full flavour, low ABV drink.

Fruity fresh flavours can be combined with any dry gin for a lighter Negroni overall, but we feel it's the bright citrus gins that suit being paired with this an Campari. For example, Chase Pink Grapefruit and Pomelo Gin or Martin Miller's Gin keep their sparkle.
