Hattingley Valley Demi-Sec 2013 - 75cl - 11% ABV
A carefully selected blend from the finest parcels of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir Précoce. Approximately 10% of the blend was fermented in old Burgundy barrels and partial malolatic fermentation took place to provide round and creamy structure. The wine aged on lees for five months in barrel and a further three years in bottle before disgorging with 38g/L dosage.
Succulent aromas of ripe red fruit dusted with brown sugar and buttery pastry. The perfectly balanced sweetness compliments the fresh acidity giving a long, intense finish.
