Belsazar Vermouth Rose - 75cl - 17.5% ABV

With a shared a passion for the best in food and drink, Maximilian Wagner, Philipp Schladerer and Sebastian Brack joined forces to create BELSAZAR Vermouth. This young German brand stands up to and can easily be compared with the best vermouths in the world, and we for one feel it delivers impeccably when pairing with Gin.

The key to Belsazar Vermouth is that they use fruit brandies produced by the family-owned Schladerer distillery in the Black Forest, and don't just rely on infusing wine with botanicals and a grape based spirit.

The subtle sweetness of Belsazar comes from adding Black Forest grape must. To stop the must from fermenting, it is refined with brandy that has been left to mature in oak casks. All ingredients are mixed together during the filtration stage. The wine, the fruit brandies and grape must become one.

The results are fresh, bright and packed with flavour. Their range is a must try for all booze hounds.

Belsazar Vermouth Rose -

A rosé bursting with surprises. Bittersweet and summery, offering a harmonious blend of pink grapefruit, Seville orange and orange blossom with a raspberry and red currant finish.

This is a great vermouth to use for those who like to serve with tonic water.

NEGRONI ADVICE -

Summery and bright, this is an interesting, alternative vermouth to use in a lighter and more seasonal Negronis (for example, with G'Vine & Aperol). Alternatively pair this up with a Flavoured Gin (such as Warner's Rhubarb or Mirabeau), anchor the duo with Campari and let the fruits bounce off each other in a buzz of delight.
